Falkirk market: stellar line up of stalls

There are plenty of stalls at the market this Saturday.

Falkirk Producers Market is back this weekend with a stellar line up of local produce, unique crafts and amazing experiences for all the family.

The Producers Market has been a hit so far in the town centre, offering a variety of sellers including some of our local businesses, independent stockers from further afield, and some delicious seasonal Scottish produce.

The aim of this market is to bring extra footfall into the town centre, and to encourage people to shop local.

Elaine Grant, BID Manager said “While visiting the market, why don’t you take a stroll into some of Falkirk’s fantastic local independent retailers, or have a walk around the Howgate Shopping Centre to see what new items are in there. “

Falkirk Delivers is all set for a fantastic market on October 2 but are asking that individuals attending please remember to follow the guidelines in place

With numbers rising again we all need to do our bit to keep each other safe and well, so if you are displaying any covid related symptoms please stay at home – don’t worry, the market will be back again next month!

Please give fellow shoppers space and use the hygiene stations as provided.

Although the stalls are all outdoors, we request when you are at a stall to wear a face covering as stall holders will be too.

Elaine added: “We’re so glad we’ve been able to continue with these markets over the past few months, and we’ve watched as they’ve went from strength to strength. There is a fantastic bunch of sellers attending this year, which makes this Saturday better than ever to visit our town centre.

“We also have local tours and exciting, educational experiences on for the kids. However, while you’re in the town, we urge to visit your favourite town centre shops, or stop for a spot of lunch of a drink. It’s important that we keep supporting our town centre in the upcoming months on the lead up to Christmas.”
