Regenerate was the finale of a series of events that had been held over ten days and, as well as the colourful headline act, there was plenty more entertainment including children’s entertainer Mr Fibbers, a silent disco and even silent cinema.

Regenerate, which was funded by the Big Lottery, aimed to attract young people and it used the latest technology to be inclusive and accessible to everyone.

For the festival, Falkirk Delivers worked with the charity Attitude is Everything, which works to improve access to live music for deaf and disabled people across the UK.

Alex Fleming, of Falkirk Delivers, said, “We had technology for people with sensory impairments to enjoy the event because we want to promote Falkirk Town Centre as a destination that’s accessible for everyone.

“It was a real coup to have Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5 come along support what we’re doing in the town centre.

“It was also great fun and enjoyed by those who came along.”
