Visitors turned out in force for a grand opening day at a new multi-use facility.

Bothkennar Activity Centre staff held a free launch event at the Skinflats venue — previously Bothkennar Primary School — on Sunday to allow guests to try their hand at everything from sumo wrestling to animal-handling. Around 100 people stopped by the Newton Avenue centre where there was also a bouncy castle, mascots, a judo display and craft tables. Pictures by Alan Murray.
