Back in the seventies a group was formed containing members from a range of clubs and organisations from all over the Falkirk district.

The group was called the Inter Club Association, which produced a journal called United Club, and was created to bring groups together.

The magazine states: “The picture on the cover illustrates exactly what the association is formed to achieve – unity.”

It was organised by the groups and local businesses who advertised in the magazine, but it’s existence was short-lived.

Cecil Caskie, who owns a copy of the magazine, said: “It was a very good idea at the time, but it fizzled out after a while which was a shame.”

Are you in this picture? Do you remember the Inter Club Association? If so, please let us know.
