With many offices still closed as a result of the pandemic, people have had to re-think how they can still do their jobs from home.

A housing development in Larbert is showcasing the latest pods which offer space to work from home.

They can be seen at CALA’s Kinnaird Lee development.

Designed by Livingston-based urbanpods, the units can be added to your home purchase.

Both companies have seen demand for the perfect home-working space soar as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each pod is the perfect size to create a home office environment that takes residents out of the house, without the need to commute for hours.

It has hard-wearing flooring, a selection of double-sockets, spot interior lighting, a slimline panel heater, sliding entrance doors and a composite deck.

A range of additional extras are also on offer for anyone who wants to ramp up the luxury while working from home.

Liana Canavan, sales and marketing director at CALA Homes (West), said: “The quality of the pods is outstanding and aligns with our own high specification, so they really are the perfect match.”

Ross Iwaniec, director at urbanpods, added: “Not only are they great spaces for home offices, but they also make luxurious home salons for those working in hair and beauty; pilates, yoga and gym studios for fitness enthusiasts; or cosy media and gaming rooms. The possibilities are endless.”

The Ufficio urbanpod starts from £12,200
