Vote for your favourite food and drink places

Calling all food and drink fans - WOW247 wants to know about your favourite foodie spots in Scotland.

The entertainment website is a one-stop shop for all things eating, drinking and going out, with guides to the best places for a night on the tiles in your town.

Now, it’s up to the public to uncover some of their favourite corners of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and beyond in the WOW247 Food and Drink Awards, organised to mark Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink.

Nominations are now open in seven categories - so cast your vote before May 23 for your favourite spot to be in with a chance.

Categories include best bar, best newcomer, fine dining, casual dining, traditional pub, best chain, street food joint, takeaway, craft beer, speciality bar, coolest cafe and - of course - the best spot for those with a sweet tooth.

A shortlist of ten for each category will be announced on May 30. A public vote will then open to decide the winners - with all revealed in August.
