Television's The Great Food Guys visit Falkirk district
The programme, starring Nick Nairn and Dougie Vipond, celebrates the fantastic range of food and drink Scotland has to offer in their country kitchen in Aberdeenshire.
In the next episode, which airs on the BBC Scotland channel at 8pm on Thursday, August 27, the theme is heritage, and the pair can be seen out on the road with their travelling van at the Falkirk Wheel.
Filmed before lockdown, they are also seen at New Lanark Mill tempting visitors with some of their dishes.
Joining them in the kitchen this week are chef Lorna McNee – a Great British Menu winner from Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles and weather presenter Judith Ralston.
Nick and Dougie will be cooking roast loin Roe deer with potato rosti and root veg, and Dougie takes a trip to traditional butchers Ramsay of Carluke.
The Great Food Guys is on the BBC Scotland channel every Thursday at 8pm.
