These 32 restaurants and cafes are just some of the food outlets across Falkirk district participating in the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme.

The government backed discount scheme, which launches on Monday, August 3, aims to help boost the hospitality industry as lockdown restrictions are relaxed by offering up to 50 per cent off food bills.

Customers who dine out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August can get a 50 per cent discount worth up to £10 per head at participating establishments.

Alcoholic drinks and service charges cannot be claimed as part of the discount and it will only apply to meals eaten in restaurants. Takeaways will still be charged at full price.
