The wedding of Kayleighanne Godfrey and John Reid

THE COUPLE: Kayleighanne is 24 and is a nursery practitioner at Linlithgow’s First Adventures and John (25) works for the family roughcasting and plastering business Mastercraft. They are both from Grangemouth and still live there.

HOW THEY MET: Kayleighanne and John met through mutual friends before hitting it off and starting their relationship.

THE PROPOSAL: John proposed to his sweetheart at home on December 12, 2012 (12-12-12) as it was a unique date in the world calendar and one they will never forget.

THE WEDDING: The couple’s big day took place at The Vu in Bathgate on May 6. Between 90-100 guests were there during the day with more coming along at night. Kayleighanne said: “Everything was perfect on the day.”

THE WEDDING PARTY: Kayleighanne had four bridesmaids - Vicky McAuley (Maid of Honour), Ruth Patterson, Danielle Reid and Megan Wyllie. John’s best man was brother Duncan Reid; Flower Girls were Jessica Edwards and Shannon Reid and Page Boys were James Reid and David Joseph.

THE DRESS: Kayleighanne’s white dress was a Ronald Joyce design from Anne and Bobby’s Wedding Shop in Bathgate. It had crystals on the tulle and sweetheart neckline design.

HONEYMOON: The couple flew out to Nissi Bay in Cyprus for a week the Sunday after the wedding.

THANKS: Kayleighanne would like to thank her papa for walking her down the aisle and the couple wish to thank her mum Bonny Wyllie, all the wedding party, especially Ruth Patterson for her help, John senior and Tracey Reid for the honeymoon and all their family and friends.
