The wedding of Janine Spiers and Kris Myles
THE COUPLE: Janine (26) is manager of Dressing Rooms boutique in Grangemouth while Kris (28) is a resource plan leader with Sky in Livingston. They live in Laurieston.
HOW THEY MET: The couple met on a Falkirk night out three years ago. Kris asked Janine to dance and impressed her with his moves.
THE PROPOSAL: Kris popped the question in March 2012 during a romantic weekend in Glasgow. He got down on one knee and proposed in the George Hotel.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on May 3. The ceremony was at Zetland Parish Church, Grangemouth, and reception at the Inchyra Grange Hotel. There were 150 guests during the day and 200 in the evening. Janine though it magical to share the day with family and friends.
WEDDING PARTY: Janine’s bridesmaids were her auntie Louise Brown, her cousin Alanna Miller and Kris’s sister, Kirsty Myles. The two best men were Kris’s best friends Ben McGinlay and Andrew Duncan. The page boys and flower girl were Janine’s cousins Lewis Brown (13) and twins Ailie and Murray Brown (10). The ushers were Ewan Spiers, Alexander Miller and Gordon Twycross.
THE DRESS: Janine found her perfect dress, an elegant white gown with crystal embellishment, at Lady G’s in East Kilbride. Janine’s mum Pauline Spiers owns Catwalk, Falkirk. Having helped so many mums, Pauline was a mother of the bride herself. She wore a Linea Raffaelli aqua/lime outfit with bespoke hat.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent two weeks in Paphos.
