Wedding of the Week: Deborah Barrie and Ian Crawford

Deborah (32) is a staff nurse from Denny while Ian (34) is an accountancy student. The couple live together in Denny.

HOW THEY MET: The couple met on February 1 three years ago at the Wheatsheaf pub in Denny.

THE PROPOSAL: Ian got down on one knee in their home on April 24, 2014. Ian said: “I was going to propose while we were on holiday but we are happiest when we are at home so it was the perfect place to ask.”

THE WEDDING: Ian and Deborah tied the knot on June 18 at the Park Hotel in Falkirk and had 80 family and friends attend the celebration. Deborah said: “The day was fabulous. Our wedding day was the only sunny day that week .”

THE WEDDING PARTY: Ian’s best man was Stephen Gillon and Deborah’s maid of honour was Emma Jenkins. Denice Rose was a bridesmaid.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple went to Antalya in Turkey for two weeks and Ian said the fortnight was fantastic fun.

THANKS: Ian and Deborah would like to say a special thanks to Duncan and Irene and all the staff from the Park Hotel and a big thank you to Pamela Jane Bridal and All Occasions in Denny. Lastly the couple would like to thank everyone involved for making it such a special day.
