The wedding of Kerryann Wilson and Kenneth Hughes
THE COUPLE: Kerryann is 30, from Grangemouth and an early years officer, and Kenneth (29) is from Bo’ness and a senior project enginner. The couple live in Redding and are expecting their first baby in August.
HOW THEY MET: The pair met in May 2007 at Behind the Wall while both were on a night out with friends.
THE PROPOSAL: In June 2011, Kenny left a train ticket and a map for Kerryann to follow which led her to the George Hotel in Edinburgh where flowers, champagne and an engagement ring were waiting for her.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on August 31, 2012. The service was held in Carriden Church in Bo’ness where 150 guests watched the couple marry. A reception was held in Dunblane Hydro where a further 80 family and friends joined the party. Agreat time was had by all.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Kerryann’s sister Danielle Wilson, Kenny’s sister Claire Hughes, and Kerryann’s best friend Mariade Abei were bridesmaids. Best man was Kenny’s best friend Stuart Ronney, the ushers were Kerryann’s brother Paul Wilson and Kenny’s friend Ryan Aitken. The page boys were Lewis Muir and Bonny Kennedy and the flower girl was Mia Abei.
THE DRESS: Kerryann wore an ivory taffeta gown with waterfall skirt and beaded bodice.
THE HONEYMOON: Three-and-a-half weeks in Australia and Dubai.
