The wedding of Donna McLean and Sean MacLagan
HOW THEY MET: Donna and Sean first met while they were both at St Mungo’s High School. Sean was friends with Donna’s brother Derek, but it was after they left school that they met again and got together.
THE PROPOSAL: Sean got down on one knee while the couple were enjoying a walk at Linlithgow Palace. Donna was completely surprised but delighted to accept and later picked her perfect engagement ring.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on May 19 when 80 guests witnessed the couple marry at St Bernadette’s Church in Larbert and a further 60 family and friends joined the celebrations at the Grange Manor in the evening. The couple say that they loved every minute of their big day.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Donna’s bridesmaid was Sean’s sister Rachel MacLagan, and the best man was Sean’s best friend Bryan Adam. The usher was Donna’s brother, Derek McLean.
THE DRESS: The bride looked stunning in her white strapless gown with ruched detail and relaxed fish tail.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent a blissful 11 days in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
THANKS: Special thanks go to both sets of parents, Liz and Tommy McLean and Fiona and Neil MacLagan. Also thanks to everyone who made the day so special for Donna and Sean.
