THE DETAILS: Noah was born on March 15, 2016 at 5.50am in Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 7lb 8oz.
THE PARENTS: Samantha Hastings (28) and Steven Robb (34), who runs his own business, live in Grangemouth. This is their first child together and Steven has a son Shay (11) and daughter Kate (10).
THE PREGNANCY: Samantha said it was short as she didn’t discover she was expecting until 28 weeks! “I found out on December 23 but we didn’t say anything to family and friends until after the festive period.”
THE BIRTH: Induced on March 13, Samantha eventually had to have an emergency Caesarean section but said it was very relaxed when everyone realised baby was fine.
THE BABY: “Fantastic” was how mum describes her bundle of joy. Already feeding well, he sleeps a lot and hardly cries.
THE NAME: Noah was a name the couple both liked and his other names are after the couple’s dads.
THE GRANDPARENTS: Noah is the first grandchild for Pamela and the late Alexander Hastings of Grangemouth, and the eighth grandchild for Mary-Ann and John Robb of Camelon.
