Lucie was born November 7 last year at 11.59am in Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 6lb 6oz.
THE PREGNANCY: Kelly said the pregnancy was fine up until she had to have an induced labour.
THE BIRTH: At 37 weeks and one day Kelly was induced and at 37 weeks and three days little Lucie was born.
THE BABY: Lucie is a happy content wee baby. Mum Kelly said: “She is really bubbly and is always smiling. She now sleeps all the way through the night however at first she was up for most of the night.”
THE NAME: The couple could not think of a name so went through the baby book and Lucie was discovered. Kelly said: “We gave it a bit of a twist with spelling it ‘ie’ instead of ‘y’.” Kelly always wanted the name Olivia so the couple compromised and agreed it would be their child’s middle name.
THANKS: Kelly and Adam would like to thank all the staff at Forth Valley Royal Hospital for their help. A big thank you as well to all their family and friends for all their help and amazing support during the pregnancy and after.
