Falkirk home combines the best of all worlds

Tucked away in one of Falkirk’s best-loved streets, it’s difficult not to be charmed by this beautiful five-bedroom family home.

The Rosehall Terrace property in the town centre has a great mix of being both immaculately presented and homely, and is tastefully decorated throughout.

And while retaining many period features, this stunning house is also kitted out for modern day living with an extended kitchen, TV room, spacious bedrooms and family room and large, private gardens.

For owner Tracey Minto, it’s a perfect package.

She said: “It’s a lovely, family-friendly home in a superb location.

“I think it’s a great house and I would really like to see it going to a family.

“It also has great benefits like being so close to Comely Park School, it’s practically on the doorstep, and it’s also just a few minutes walk from Falkirk High train station.”

Tracey’s been in the house for 10 years and now lives there with her three children, Elliot (13), Finlay (7), and five-year-old Forcha.

She said: “When we initially moved in, it maybe wasn’t as family friendly, but we modified and extended the kitchen quite a bit just to make it a bit more family orientiated.

“It made a huge difference.

“The kitchen doors also lead on to the decking and then the large garden which is great for the summer, and for the winter there’s a feature coal fire.”

Tracey added: “The location really is a big benefit of this house. It’s at the end of a cul-de-sac so there’s no through road, but also it’s great for access.

“So many of the neighbours work in Glasgow or Edinburgh and they commute no problem.”
