Falkirk eco home is just what the doctors ordered

When retired GPs Richard and Cath Dyer realised their house had become too large for just them but could not imagine living anywhere else, there was one solution.

Built in the grounds of their former garden, this fantastic environmentally friendly house has been over three years in the making but has proved to be worth the wait.

The couple have been living in their eco home for three months, and can’t imagine being anywhere else.

Cath said: “We felt that the only way we could justify building our own house would be to make it as environmentally friendly and carbon neutral as possible.”

Situated in Falkirk’s Drossie Road, the house is featured in the current edition of The Falkirk Herald.
