Discover beer in Falkirk

A new festival is set to showcase craft beers, live music and street food in Falkirk.

Craft Beer Discovery on Friday, June 30 to Saturday, July 1 will see over a dozen independent and artisan brewers exhibit their products at The Falkirk Stadium.

Alongside the ales and beers, visitors can also enjoy cider, wine and gins from the well stocked gin bar and entertainment will be provided by some of the best Scottish musicians and bands. For the peckish, street food such as tacos, burgers and pulled pork will be dished up and the event is under cover, so even the rain won’t dampen the atmosphere.

The event will be one of the first to be held in the new space at Falkirk Stadium, and is from Harbro Events, the team behind Falkirk Whisky Festival and Falkirk Gin Festival.

Tickets, priced £12 are on sale now at www.eventbrite.co.uk.

Organiser Andy Ure from Falkirk said: “This is our biggest and most ambitious event to date, combining craft beer with food and live music.

“Craft beer is enjoying a boom just now as people are more passionate than ever about choosing to drink quality over quantity. With more exhibitors still to be confirmed, we are very excited about some of the great breweries and products already coming along.
