Could you be Blue’s new best friend for life?

Dogs Trust is trying find a new home for Lurcher Blue, who is currently living at the West Calder Rehoming Centre.

Meanwhile the charity is flagging up its Spotlight Sunday which takes place at the centre on Sunday next week (March 22) from 12pm to 4pm.

It’s said to be the perfect opportunity to find out much more about Blue and the type of home he is looking for.

He is six years old and he is always searching for ways to have fun.

This lively Lurcher loves nothing more than running around the garden chasing after his favourite teddy bear.

Blue is house trained, loves setting off for walks around the countryside and he will happily jump into the car to seek out new adventures.

However he is a sensitive dog and can be worried around new people or in unfamiliar situations. so needs patient and understanding owners to take their time building up a loving bond with him.

Blue’s new owners will need to have experience with dogs and be able to provide him with a quiet, adult only home in a rural area where he is the only pet at home.

He would be happiest with owners who are home throughout the day to keep him company and can help settle him into his new routine.

If you think you could provide the perfect home for Blue, or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, head along to Spotlight Sunday or contact the centre on 01506 873459
