Wheels and deals
Thanks to a host of updates, the new NP300 Navara is as rugged and capable as ever, but with greater comfort, improved refinement and a range of new technologies that make it even more suited to those with an active lifestyle.
It’s available in two bodystyles; the stylish king cab or double cab for those needing full-sized seating in the second row. Under the bonnet all Navara models come with a brand-new 2.3-litre dCi diesel unit, which offers 160PS in single-turbo form or a generous 190PS with twin-turbochargers. Both engine options can be specified with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission, with two- and four-wheel-drive available depending on the model. All double cab models are also fitted with an accomplished five-link rear suspension set-up for a more composed ride and greater comfort.

PCP and HP customers can opt for a highly attractive three or four-year 4.9% finance deal, respectively, along with a deposit contribution from Nissan starting at £1,000 on Acenta+ and increasing to £1,750 on the range topping Tekna Auto. For a short period only, the NP300 Navara also comes with three years’ free servicing, while loyal customers can enjoy five years’ free servicing.
:: Ferrari has responded to criticism of its touring-biased California T model by offering a new Handling Speciale upgrade package. The stiffer suspension springs and dampers ‘reduce ride comfort but lend an extra edge,’ says Ferrari, specifically for twisting roads.
Some corners of the media have called the car too boring and reserved, especially in the way it handles. The new package aims to address that. The dampers have been set up to respond to bumps faster and give more control in fast cornering, allowing the car to punch out of corners with more sharpness and speed. The springs themselves are 16% and 19% stiffer at the front and rear respectively.
As part of the modifications, the exhaust noise also gets louder at high revs compared to the standard car, while the gearbox shifts faster than before.
