The donations are made across Persimmon Homes’ 28 regions, as well as from its Space4 timber frame business and from the PLC head office.
Among the charities helped by Persimmon Homes East Scotland during the past 12 months include Team Jak, Bo’ness and Carriden Brass Band, Swim West Lothian, Forrester React 2 Rugby Trust and Town Break, Stirling.
Jim Kirkpatrick, managing director of Persimmon Homes East Scotland said they had been overwhelmed by the response to the scheme, adding: “We hope that our funding of £24,000 for the next 12 months can make a huge difference across the region.
‘‘We want to hear from as many community ventures as we’re determined to donate our money where it will help the most.’’
Charities are asked to fundraise themselves and Persimmon will match fund up to £1000. To apply, visit www.persimmonhomes.com/charity
