Baby of the week: Scarlett Bridget Whyte

Scarlett was born on September 28, 2017 at Forth Valley Hospital at 9.31am weighing 9lbs.

THE PARENTS: Mum Jade Dollard (34), works as a deputy manager 
in a care home, while dad Stuart Whyte (33) is an offshore oil worker. The couple live in Larbert and Scarlett is their first child.

THE PREGNANCY: Jade said that the pregnancy wasn’t great as there were some complications throughout. Scarlett was born a healthy baby which Jade said the main thing.

THE BIRTH: The birth was fairly straightforward and Jade said it 
was “as good as a birth could be.”

THE BABY: Scarlett is an incredibly happy baby who is always smiling.

THE NAME: Jade always loved the name as her favourite movie is Gone with the Wind and was inspired by the main character, Scarlett O’Hara.

THE GRANDPARENTS: The delighted grandparents are Valerie and John Dollard and Janice and John Whyte.

THANKS: The parents would like to thank both sets of grandparents for their love and support throughout the pregnancy. Since Scarlett arrived they’ve offered so much advice and the new parents can’t thank them enough.
