THE PARENTS: Mum Leanne Walker (34), works as an early years officer for Falkirk Council, while dad David Inglis (33) is at Carron Phoenix. The couple live in Larbert and Lily is Leanne’s second child and David’s first.
THE PREGNANCY: Leanne said that the pregnancy was fairly easy with little complications. However, Lily was 13 days late and the mum-to-be was beginning to get impatient waiting on her arrival.
THE BIRTH: Leanne was induced as Lily was nearly two weeks late and baby’s heart rate was starting to get too high. Aside from that however, Leanne said the birth was straightforward and her midwife was incredible.
THE BABY: Lily is a really happy baby who is always smiling.

THE NAME: David suggested the name and Leanne loved it right away.
THE GRANDPARENTS: The delighted grandparents are Danielle and William Walker and John and Heather Inglis.
