THE PARENTS: Mum Melissa (32) is a completions engineer, while dad Colin (38) is an aircraft dispatcher. Hollie has an older brother Max (4) and the family live in Reddingmuirhead.
THE PREGNANCY: Melissa said the pregnancy was very straightforward.
THE BIRTH: It was a quick birth as Melissa was in labour for just two hours. Melissa was due on January 5.
THE NAME: Melissa and Colin both loved the name Hollie and because she was born during the Christmas period that sealed it. Hollie’s middle name is after Melissa’s mum Catherine.

THE BABY: Hollie is a really content baby who smiles and laughs. She has slept through the night since she was eight weeks old and mum Melissa says they are very lucky.
THE GRANDPARENTS: Hollie is the third grandchild for Irene Watson from Stenhousemuir and is the sixth grandchild of John Gordon from Maddiston.
