Baby of the Week: Corey Munro

Corey Paul Munro was born on December 12, 2017 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital at 4.17pm, weighing 7lbs 3oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Stephanie Munro (30) is a case review officer with Falkirk Council, while dad Scott (33), is an offshore mechanic. The couple live in Grangemouth. Corey is Stephanie’s first child, while Scott has two older sons, Jared and Lenny.

THE PREGNANCY: Stephanie suffered from morning sickness up until week 23, but after that her pregnancy was pretty normal.

THE BIRTH: Corey was born by caesarian section.

THE BABY: Corey is a very happy baby. He laughs all the time and is always smiling. He’s a happy, loving wee boy.

THE NAME: The couple found out they were having a wee boy but couldn’t think of a name. Two weeks before he was born Scott was working offshore and had been watching an American TV show and suggested Corey. Stephanie loved the name.

THE GRANDPARENTS: The delighted grandparents are Alison and Paul Hastings and Lynda and Robert Munro. Corey’s great grandparents are Betty and Ian Archibald.
