Baby of the Week: Daniel John Swan

THE PARENTS: Mum Krystal Swan (29), is a market place manager for Ladbrokes Coral, while dad David Swan (33), is an improvement analyst for Scottish Power. Daniel has a proud big brother, Nathan who is two. The family live in Stenhousemuir.

THE PREGNANCY: Krystal said it was “horrendous” as she had pelvic girdle pain, which forced her to finish work two months early.

THE BIRTH: Krystal said the birth itself was quite smooth as it was a planned c-section. Daniel was born one week early.

THE BABY: Daniel loves all-nighters. Krystal said thankfully his big brother sleeps all night and isn’t woken up by Daniel being up all night.

THE NAME: Krystal said the couple liked Daniel and Nathan as names. When Nathan was born they liked Nathaniel, so by calling him 
Daniel, when you combine 
Nathan and Daniel it’s almost Nathaniel.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Daniel’s delighted grandparents are John and Christine Ramsay and Helen and Davy Swan.
