Baby of the week: Autumn Heather Mooney

Autumn Heather Mooney was born on August 26, 2017 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 5lbs 13oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Adele Mooney, works as a hairdresser, while dad Stephen Mooney is a shipping scheduler. The couple live in Whitecross and Autumn is their first child together.

THE PREGNANCY: Adele said that the pregnancy went really well, and described the nine months as a dream.

THE BIRTH: Adele’s waters broke at 36 weeks and Autumn arrived three weeks early. By the time they got to the hospital, Autumn was ready to arrive which meant it was too late for any pain relief for Adele.

THE BABY: Autumn is an incredibly happy baby and always smiling.

THE NAME: The couple met a woman called Autumn while on their honeymoon, and loved how unique it sounded. Autumn’s middile name, Heather, is after Stephen’s mum who passed away two years ago.

THE GRANDPARENTS: The delighted grandparents are Aletha and David Wilson and John Mooney.

THANKS: The parents would like to thank both sets of grandparents along with Autumn’s auntie and uncle for all their help and babysitting.
