‘‘The setting was perfect and we intend to explore the possibility of making it an annual event.’’
He thanked Falkirk Town Council which had been co-operative and helpful and partcularly Mr Roy Irvine, parks superintendent, and Mr David Cunningham, entertainments officer.
Provost William Fenny said: ‘‘I was delighted to see the big turn-out because this was a first rate display by these young people.
‘‘It was an outstanding occasion.’’
Among the guests was Major General F C C Graham,Colonel of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
