A furious mother hit out this week after her daughter was horrifically injured in a playpark.

Little Emma Waddelow (8) was left screaming in agony and needed 12 stitches after cutting her leg on glass in a park beside Tamfourhill Community Centre.

Now her mother Jane of Cumbrae Drive has demanded to know why the park is not cleaned more often.

The mother of four told The Falkirk Herald: ‘‘I came home from work on Sunday evening and my kids told me Emma had been taken to hospital.

‘‘I went straight there and my mum, who had been looking after my children, was with her.

‘‘She lifted the cover to let me see her leg.

‘‘I made me sick. It was in some mess!’’
