Young pupils from the Stenhouse School of Dance step out in style on the stage in 1970 but this uncaptioned picture from the archives gives no clue as to the occasion nor are the girls named.

The school was established in 1956 by Irene Langlands with the first classes held in the Plough Hotel, Stenhousemuir.

Over the years, other branches were opened and other teachers joined giving a wide range of classes available. Classes are held in Falkirk, Bo’ness, Larbert and Linlthgow.
