Review of local NHS services

Public Health Minister Aileen Campbell will carry out the annual review of NHS Forth Valley when she will look closely at the performance of the health authority.

Her day begins with a visit to the children’s ward when she will have an opportunity to speak to staff and patients.

Ms Campbell will hear about the importance of an initiative What Matters to Me and see how it is used.

The programme gives young patients a voice regarding the care they receive when in hospital and allows clinicians to learn about the child’s life at home.

The annual review takes place in the afternoon followed by a public question and answer session.
