It followed on from the success of an 80s themed fundraiser on behalf of the hospice last year.

Their friends and families donned their best fancy dress to help bring in £7409 much-needed funds for the Denny facility.

Handing over the cheque to Claire Macdonald, Strathcarron Hospice fundraiser, Kevin said: “A massive thanks to the 200 family, friends and work colleagues for attending our now annual charity event in aid of Strathcarron Hospice.

“We had a tremendous night with entertainment from Lauren Kyle and Craig Pollock, and we are so grateful to everyone who donated prizes for the evening.

“On the evening, we also received an incredibly generous donation of £3,00 from Falkirk Round Table, helping to make this our most successful fundraising night yet.”

Kevin’s late mother Jane Campbell spent her last days in the hospice and his family appreciate all the work everyone connected with Strathcarron does.

Claire said: “We are incredibly grateful to Kevin, David and Ryan for their continued support of the hospice.

“We know that most people in their final days of life would prefer to be at home if at all possible – and be with those who are important to them. The money raised from this event can pay for our Hospice@Home Team to care for 11 people at home, surrounded by everyone and everything they love, in their last two weeks of life.”
