Roadside breakdown workers from RAC, who are also members of Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band, were joined by Police Scotland personnel in thanking all those on the frontline working to tackle the coronavirus crisis.
George McNeil, of Shieldhill, was joined by his daughter Donelsa, brother Scott, of Denny, and nephew Ross in piping for the hospital’s doctors and nursing staff, with FVRH employees coming off shift gathering to take in the spectacle.

George said: “We were delighted with it, we weren’t sure what was going to happen.
“We’ve got a WhatsApp group and there was a message trying to get a lot of the RAC patrols to try to meet up at their local hospital to show their appreciation.
“We just decided we would go to Forth Valley and meet up together. I just happen to play the pipes and had done it a few weeks ago, playing outside my van with a sign up and it grew legs.

“One of our bosses, Marc Garrett, is having to isolate because he’s going through cancer treatment and he keeps us all in touch so it’s dedicated to him.”
