Lottery grant will help Falkirk surivivors of coronavirus

A cash grant will help a Scottish charity support survivors of Covid-19 and others with respiratory conditions.

The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded £37,500 to Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland to fund their Hospital to Home Respiratory Support Service.

Working in partnership with the NHS, the charity’s Community Support Team will provide support to people as they return home from hospital to help them manage their condition and live well at home.

The service will potentially support up to 4000 people per month with support from over 400 volunteers.
