Nicola Sturgeon addressed Parliament this afternoon and announced the updated coronavirus restriction levels for areas across Scotland.

All 18 areas currently at level three are set to stay at this level, while no area is being moved up into level four this week.

Three local authorities that are currently in level two will move to level three from Friday. These are East Lothian, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City.

All other local authorities will remain at the same level as now.

Areas in level three:

Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City, East Lothian, West Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Midlothian, South Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, East Ayrshire, Stirling, Clackmannanshire, Glasgow City, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Perth & Kinross, Dundee and Fife.

Areas in level two:

Angus, Argyll & Bute, Falkirk and Inverclyde.

Areas in level one:

Highlands, Moray, Orkney, Shetland, the Western Isles, Dumfries & Galloway and the Scottish Borders.
