The price of a cuppa could help staff and patients at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

People are being asked to consider donating the cost of their morning cup of coffee or afternoon tea to a local charity.

The Friends of Forth Valley Royal Hospital is a registered charity. Money raised is used to make hospital stays more comfortable for patients and their families.

It also provides equipment for healthcare staff to treat and care for patients.

As well as supporting the hospital and staff during the coronavirus outbreak, the charity continues to provide funding as normal.

However, like all charities the members are finding it difficult to fundraise at the moment but hope, with all the cafes closed, people would consider donating the money they would normally spend.

Friends chairperson Janis Haston said: “We are continuing to support the patients and staff with equipment to stimulate the mind and also donating requested juice for the patients who at this time have no visitors to take this in.

continuing support.”
