Forth Valley Royal Hospital Wi-Fi upgraded to keep patients and families connected

NHS Forth Valley has confirmed improvements have been made at the Larbert hospital so those receiving treatment can stay connected to loved ones.
The announcement comes after a member of the public raised a complaint due to the difficulties they had experienced when trying to make calls.

Hide AdThe woman told The Falkirk Herald: “Now more than ever it is essential to have phone contact for patients who cannot have visitors.”
An NHS FV spokeswoman said: “In addition, we have landline phones with mobile handsets and tablets in our wards which patients can use to communicate with their families while they are in hospital.
“We would encourage any family member who has difficulties contacting a patient while they are in hospital to speak to the nurse in charge of the ward who can provide advice and support.”
