Falkirk medical practice hit by COVID as 'number of staff' test positive

NHS Forth Valley has confirmed employees of Meeks Road Surgery are self-isolating following the outbreak.

A spokeswoman said: “A number of staff based at Meeks Road Surgery in Falkirk have tested positive for Covid-19.

“Close contacts have been identified and are now self-isolating.

“The premises have been deep cleaned and, due to reduced staffing levels, routine appointments have been cancelled for this week.

“NHS Forth Valley’s Test and Protect team is continuing to provide support.”
