All of our lives have changed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but many of you are looking ahead to life after lockdown.

And it seems most of you are looking forward to seeing family once the restrictions are eased, according to the results of our Lockdown Survey.

A massive 80 per cent of Falkirk Herald readers who completed our online survey chose seeing family as one of three areas of everyday life they were looking forward to.It was followed by socialising with friends (61 per cent) and enjoying the outdoors again (36 per cent).

Only 19 per cent were looking forward to their children being back in school and 18 per cent were looking forward to going back to their workplace.

Participants were also asked to choose which activities they were looking forward to doing again, and they could choose any number from a set of options.

Going on holidays/trips was top of the poll with 70 per cent of those asked choosing it.

It was closely followed by eating out and going to pubs/bars, which 65 per cent of readers opted for,

Going to the barber/hairdresser came third with 59 per cent choosing it.

The least popular option was attending sports events.

This week we have already revealed some of the results from our lockdown survey and more will be released today and tomorrow.
