A total of 104,880 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 89,695 were confirmed negative and 15,185 were positive.

However, the government has said this will be an underestimate of the number of cases. Not everyone with the virus will display symptoms and not all those with symptoms will be tested.

Yesterday, 2977 tests carried out by NHS Scotland in hospitals, care homes or the community, making a total of 152,202 COVID-19 tests through NHS labs to date.
