The schools with individuals now self isolating include Avonbridge, Carmuirs, Westquarter, Kinnaird, Larbert Village, Maddiston and Shieldhill primary schools and Falkirk, Braes and Graeme high schools.
NHS Forth Valley director of public health Dr Graham Foster said: “We are seeing the impact of Halloween and Bonfire Night. We are now seeing that with children testing positive for COVID-19 and having to self isolate.”
