Three new positive cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Forth Valley.

Friday’s daily Scottish Government figures show the health board region has now had 1091 confirmed cases of Covid-19 since the outbreak began – an increase of three from Thursday.

Across Scotland there were 17 new confirmed cases over night and no Covid-19 related deaths.

The data shows there are currently less than five people in Forth Valley hospitals who have been confirmed as having Covid-19.

Seventeen patients in hospital are suspected as having the virus.

A total of 314,898 people in Scotland have been tested to date through NHS Scotland labs and the UK Government’s testing programme. Of these, 296,497 were confirmed negative and 18,401 were positive.
