The latest one is based at Kincardine Community Centre, and will provide testing for members of the public regardless of whether they have symptoms or not.

Provided by National Services Scotland and staffed by the Scottish Ambulance Service, the mobile testing unit will visit the area for a two-week period, providing the community with easy access to testing.

Testing is by appointment which can be arranged online at or via 0800 028 2816.

When booking, members of the public should indicate that they are taking part in a pilot project and select ‘taking part in community testing’.

The mobile unit will operate from 9.30am to 6:00pm, seven days a week.

Safe and secure, the strictest hygiene measures are in place on-site.

Not everyone with COVID-19 has symptoms but they could still be infectious and spread the virus.

By providing testing for the local population, cases can be identified and the spread of the virus reduced.
