New Falkirk Council service offering support to housebound
People who are unable to get shopping, medicine and other essentials because of the coronavirus can now get help from a new Falkirk Council team

The Support For People team will help get items such as food and prescriptions to those who are most vulnerable because of the Covid-19 pandemic .They stress this is for people who need help and have no-one else to turn to.This may be because people are self isolating, shielding for health reasons or other personal circumstances.But the council stresses that if you have family, friends, neighbours or other services who are able to help, you should continue to use them.If not, the team will put you in touch with people in your community who can help.The service can be found on the council’s website www.falkirk.gov.uk or by phoning 0808 100 3161, with lines open from 9am until 6.30pm.
