A total of 114,322 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 98,922 were confirmed negative and 15,400 were positive.

However, the government has said this will be an underestimate of the number of cases. Not everyone with the virus will display symptoms and not all those with symptoms will be tested.

Yesterday there were 2588 tests carried out by NHS Scotland in hospitals, care homes or the community, making a total of 169,649 COVID-19 tests through NHS labs to date.

in addition, there were 641 drive through and mobile tests carried out by the Regional Testing Centres in Scotland bringing the total to 59,016 tests to date.
