Military personnel staff new Polmont asymptomatic COVID drop-in test centre

A new 'drop-in' Covid-19 test centre has opened in Polmont for people in the Falkirk Council area who do not have symptoms of coronavirus.

Polmont Sports Centre, on Salmon Inn Road, is the venue for the new asymptomatic test centre, which will run from 10am to 8pm, Wednesday to Sunday each week.

No appointments are necessary for the service which will be manned initially by military personnel.

The test itself takes around 30 minutes with results given the same day either by phone or text.
