Latest Covid-19 figures show another increase in Forth Valley

There has been another significant rise in Covid-19 cases across Forth Valley.

Latest figures released by the Scottish Government this afternoon reveal that 35 more people in the area have tested positive in the last 48 hours.

In the last seven days there have been 96 positive cases.

There are currently six people with coronavirus being treated in hospitals across the region.

This comes after no inpatients for some time having Covid-19 symptoms.

Across Scotland there are currently 123 people in hospital who have tested positive.

Meanwhile, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed 806 people in Scotland have tested positive in the past 24 hours.

Since mass testing began 28,604 people in Scotland have had positive tests.
