Further positive Covid-19 cases in Forth Valley

There has been a small increase in the number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Forth Valley.

Latest figures released by the Scottish Government reveal another four people have tested positive – the same increase as yesterday – and brings the total to 867.

The number of people being treated for coronavirus in Forth Valley hospital wards is now 21, one fewer than yesterday.

Less than five of these are in intensive care are Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert. If the number is below five then it is not released by the government.

Patients with or suspected to have coronavirus are being treated in two wards at Fort Valley Royal Hospital

A total of 82,266 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 68,006 were confirmed negative and 14,260 were positive.
