Further positive Covid-19 case recorded in Forth Valley overnight

In the last 24 hours one more positive case of coronavirus has been recorded in Forth Valley.

There have now been 1087 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the health board region since the outbreak began.

Monday’s daily Scottish Government figures show an increase of one for NHS Forth Valley, up from 1086 on Sunday.

They also show there are currently less than five people who have been confirmed as having Covid-19 being treated in the region’s hospitals, and less than five in the intensive care unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.

There are ten patients suspected as having the virus in hospital locally.

A total of 302,812 people in Scotland have been tested to date through NHS Scotland labs and the UK Government’s testing programme. Of these, 284,447 were confirmed negative and 18,365 were positive.
