Further increase in Covid-19 cases in Forth Valley

Statistics released by the Scottish Government this afternoon show that 22 people have had a positive coronavirus test in the last 48 hours in the health board area, six of these in the last 24 hours..

The number in the past week who have tested positive in the area is 92.

There are currently seven people in hospital with Covid-19 in Forth Valley.

In the last six months since figures have been recorded there have been 1385 people identified as having the virus in Forth Valley.

Scotland recorded 344 more people testing positive, and sadly one of those who has tested positive has died.
